Lucia Comnes is an American fiddler-singer-songwriter from San Francisco, based in Rome, Italy. Her new album ‘Held in the Arms’, greatly praised in the US: “There is not an inferior tune on this entire 43-minute album (No Depression)” and on national TV in Italy, was described by Folk Radio UK as “A journey into the light… Assured beautifully crafted American Folk.” Her impressive musical background includes playing/touring with Joan Baez, and Tim Grimm, opening for Paul Brady and collaborating with Liam Ó Maonlaí (Hothouse Flowers). Her song, ‘No Hiding Place’, a swampy blues number that marries lines from Appalachian ballads to a Bo Diddley beat, was recognised by the Dallas Texas Songwriters Association as Best Song of the Year in 2014.
“A singular voice… embedded with soul and spirit.” – San Francisco Chronicle

Jefferson Hamer is a songwriter, guitarist, and traditional musician based in Brooklyn, NY. His new album of original songs Alameda (featuring Jeff Picker, John Fatum, Alec Spiegelman, Hannah Read, Sarah Jarosz, and others) will be released in 2018. He currently plays electric guitar and sings (and moonlights as a Bostonian) with the six-piece roots rock ensemble Session Americana. In 2016 he recorded and co-produced their album “Great Shakes“. His 2013 “Child Ballads” album with Anais Mitchell earned a BBC2 Folk Award and was named one of NPR’s top-ten Folk releases of the year.
“A gifted guitarist and singer, Hamer is able to hit close harmonies… and weave gorgeous instrumental lines.” – Acoustic Guitar
