Earth Day Marin is pleased to announce that Marin-native and internationally recognized chanteuse and sustainability advocate Lucia Comnes will perform at the festival this year. She will be featured at the Green Songwriters Contest.

She has consistently worked actively for environmental causes since her youth as a cofounder of STRAW (Students and Teachers Restoring a Watershed, a project of Point Blue Conservation Science). She recently brought down the house performing her new song about climate change for 350.org.
A captivating singer, songwriter, guitarist and violinist, Lucia has performed with Joan Baez, was a member of Kitka, has been a favorite at the San Francisco Irish Music Festival and has shared stages with countless legends such as Linda Tillery, Taj Mahal, Anna Halprin and Maria Muldaur just to name a few.
